Worrying for no reason....as always

So as you know a little over a month ago now Logan started CDC here at Yokota. Before this he had been out of daycare for over a year while Isaac was in Korea and I had my awesome time as a stay at home mom.

I am not gonna lie I was extremely nervous about him going back to CDC. Especially since now he would be in the preschool room. Was he mature enough? Was he going to throw tantrums? Would he get along with kids in the class? Well I will have you know that all of my worries and stresses and frustrations were a complete waste of time. HE LOVES IT!  He wakes up every morning asking when is he going to CDC, he has a great group of friends that he spends all day with and he loves loves loves his teachers Ms. Laima and Ms. Daisy. I mean you would think he has been with them for years.

The only issue we have had so far is with nap time. I haven't had a kid who takes naps in almost 2 years and he's only 3 1/2 and so of course he wasn't a fan of the 2 hours daily CDC nap time but he does lay down and uses it as quiet time.

Ms. Daisy and Ms. Laima are both so amazing and I am so lucky that Logan ended up in this classroom with these ladies that care as much about his as much as I do. I am so proud of his transition and how well he has adjusted to his new surroundings and schedule.

On Monday I had his parent teacher conference and y'all I got the best progress report I could've asked for! He not only expresses his feelings to his teachers and friends, but he is caring and attentive to his friends. He plays well with his classmates, he is the snack monitor (!!!!!!!!!!!!), he knows our train station, where the BIC camera store he loves so much is, Where we used to live, where his cousins live and He even pours his own milk at meal times. He has some things he has to work on still like tracing his name and being able to identify all of his letters but we will get there. Overall I was so pleased with what I heard.

  1. Isn't it so fun to get positive feedback? A little reassurance that you are doing a good job momma! He is adorable.
